The bananas were used to suppress sound. I guess crackers don't have the same acoustic cancellation properties.

One of the stories overlooked by raceologists like Tigah in ATL was the Courtney Upshaw arrest. CU was accused of battering a white woman. The white woman's father said his daughter gets a little batshit crazy every now and then. Raceologists and democrats move on to the next story.

Does this mean any grocery store in a black neighborhood that carries bananas is racist?

When I played football, the black players never ate the bananas. Only the apples, oranges and grapes.

Boston folks nearly burned down their city during the busing riots. The revisionist view that the north is more tolerant and open than the south is just utter crap. These counties in New Hampshire, Vermont, and Mass that are 99% white don't have any exposure to others, and therefore can't see the real picture.

When I hear my fellow southerners make this argument (they were just as bad) I can't help but think they sound like Big 10 fans saying the SEC isn't faster than them....they seem think that it means an SEC lineman can outrun a Big 10 receiver...yes, there is extreme racism in Northern states....but it has never been institutionalized like it is in the south. The difference isn't stark but it is there. This is why so many southern blacks went north even though there was racism in. Boston and Detroit. Again it seems like y'all are suggesting that blacks don't know what is in their own bets interest as y'all claim about their electing democrats....

I travel a lot for my job, I've worked in 20 different states at one time or another. I've been in every county of GA,TN,KY,AL,VA and WV. The most racist place I've EVER been to in my life was Chicago, IL. And before you ask, NO, It's not just blacks against whites, it's whites against blacks, Hispanics against Asians, everyone against everyone.

Does racism exist in the south, of course. Institutionalized, NO.

Shut up germandawg

I think germandawg is talking about institutionalized racism in the south pre civil right era whereas everyone else is talking about racism now.

I think the every day racism is worse in the North.

I think the occasional violent racism is worse in the South.

Would you consider Ferguson, MO south? Or L.A.? Or Oakland?

I wouldn't.

Is that like rolling her in flour to find the wet spot? Or did he deep fry her?

I don't know about racist, it's a mix but a lot of the younger people in jersey are virulently racist and I don't really blame them. Anyone ever been to Newark?

They are definitely more confrontational and vulgar. My wife is from jersey and every now and then when she throws a little fit over nothing it is spectacular
