You should know. I'm sure you've been on the receiving end of a sucker punch many times.

“Some part of our being knows this is where we came from. We long to return. And we can. Because the cosmos is also within us. We’re made of star-stuff. We are a way for the cosmos to know itself.” Carl Sagan

Probably the one most mystifying thing that always blew my mind was the size of the Universe! There is no beginning or ending and it just goes on forever!
And why in the hell does some idiot have to bring their hatred of religion into every topic?

I am indifferent about relgion.

BUT YES, the sheer size of the universe can have you thinking about it forever and still not be able to comprehend it's vast size

Does anyone have the link to the website that discusses this kind of thing (i.e. The Great Filter, Fermi Paradox, Drake Equation) that laid everything out in visual form?

It is statistically next to impossible that we are alone in the universe.

Since there's some God stuff up in this thread, I would argue that it is statistically next to impossible that God doesn't exist and Jesus did not walk the Earth as God incarnate, the Creator entering his creation.

Agree - it's straight up cool without any religiosity needed.
