Yap

WR1 numbers all year, but he has that perceived WR2 value for whatever reason

He's top 10 in just about every WR category.

he has as many 100 yard games as Julio, Demaryius, Antonio, & Jordy Nelson.

Leads the NFL in YAC yards.

People got caught in his numbers for Seattle when they only threw the ball 400x in a season

WR1 numbers all year,

He's had 3 bad games. 2 solid days. And 2 great days.

That's a WR2 to me. Especially when those great games came when the #1 target on his team wasn't playing.

I'm in a 0.5 PPR league and Tate is a top-8 receiver. Hasn't had less than five catches all season. Even in his 'down' games, he still manages to be a respectable fantasy contributor each week.

Calvin Johnson
AJ Green
Antonio Brown
DT88
Dez
Jordy
Maclin (iffy)
Cobb

All these guys have been significantly better than Tate this year even with Calvin out

In my PPR league, Tate is the #7 WR.

So there are only 8 WR1's?

Cool.

Tate is ranked 7th.

Calvin Johnson

How do you do this again?

2 bad games, 2 solid games, 1 great game

DT88

2 bad games, 1 ok game, 3 great games

Dez

3 bad games, 1 solid game, 3 great games

Jordy

2 bad gamses, 2 ok games, 3 great games

Maclin (iffy)

3 bad games, 3 solid games, 1 great game

Significantly better?

Tate in PPR has 125.3 points

That's better than Calvin Johnson, AJ Green, Jeremy Maclin

only 3pts LESS than Dez Bryant, and 6 points less than Randall Cobb.

Significantly better? Tate is the 7th overall WR. That's WR1 material.

And no mention of Julio

Hell, even T.Y. Hilton is a WR1. Steve Smith is performing like a WR1 also.

Anyway, receivers with more fantasy points in my league (PPR 0.5):
Brown, Nelson, Thomas, Cobb, Jones, Dez, Smith Sr.

Tate has put up WR1 numbers this season, for sure.

Not to mention there are only 5 RBS(and 1 TE) in PPR that average more points per week than Golden Tate.

Well yeah. Just because you're #9 doesn't mean you have WR1 value.

Calvin has had one great game, two solid games. 2 games he was a decoy so you can count those if you want.

DT88 3 great games, 1 solid game, 2 bad games. Still better than Tate w/o a significant injury on Offense to help him out.

Dez 4 great games 1 solid game 2 bad

Jordy 3 great games 2 solid games 2 bad games. Again. Better than Tate.

Maclin 2 great games 2 solid games 2 bad games. Iffy like I said but still better.

Cobb 3 great. 3 solid. 1 bad. Better than Tate.

in PPR

This is probably our problem.

He's #9 in my league with Calvin essentially being out for four games. Not a WR1
