The dude is killing me in a 12 team standard league. Should I still sell him while he has some value left? Or hold out until ATL goes up against CAR, TB, NO? I'm beginning to think he's a very situational play now with the ATL line being pure garbage, Matt Ryan getting sacked before getting any time to go through his reads, and Julio being double covered. White gets his yardage as a short route receiver but I'm losing all hope on Julio. I should be destroying the competition with my lineup, but I'm 2-5...

Julio, Mason for Maclin, McKinnon?

Losing all hope? GTFO

Julio has been one of the clear top 4 WR so far. This is like bitching over Demaryius weeks 1-3. We saw how that turned out.

I would do that. Maybe see if you can get a slightly better RB but I like that deal either way.

a guy in my league just offered me Julio & McCoy for DT88... its an intriguing offer and if I wasn't already set at RB I'd probably jump all over it.

RBs: Gio, Ellington, Joique, Mckinnon, Hill

its a 1 pt PPR so my top 3 RBs can all put up big numbers. I'm currently in 1st place (6-1) and don't feel I need to make any big moves at the moment.

its still on the table.... just not sure I need to do anything drastic at the moment. My starting RBs have been out performing McCoy anyway. Atlanta's offense and Philly's Oline have been very inconsistent

Julio is a slight downgrade, but you get McCoy already through his bye with no Sproles for free. Accept it immediately.

It hasn't formally offered, but did it verbally. I'm sure he is gonna back-track and want me to throw in Ellington or something like that. I'll go to him and see if he'll accept as is and go from there.

Are you speaking in regards to standard league points? Because he may be Top 8, but a majority of those points came in 2 outings in Week 2 and 3 BEFORE ATL's oline decided to all die.

Also, you have to admit Denver's situation is VASTLY different than Atlanta's. Running backs, offensive line, quarterback, etc.

I would keep DT88. The offensive line in Atlanta is probably worse than Jacksonville's.

I think Julio is a great receiver in a bad situation. I've got Matt Ryan and think the same thing. I had to sit him. With the o-line issues, they just can't get anything going.

This was my thinking.... I don't want to get caught up in the name "McCoy" and make a move that I could regret later. Also Gio & Ellington have both already had their bye weeks as well and have both been outperforming McCoy. So not sure the gap between McCoy & my RBs counters the gap between DT88 & Julio when taking into account offensive situations of each team.

I agree. I'm going to probably get grilled for this but you're essentially going to be trading THE number one receiver for a potential RB1 (I think he will be since all of the line is piecing together) and a WR1 that is unable to perform better than a WR2 because of the hopelessness of the ATL offensive line. Will he have WR1 games? Probably against NO, TB, CAR but Matty Ice's line is a literal floodgate that's bursting at the seams.

I'm not getting fluffy feelings from the name "Julio" because I think looking at the situation objectively, Julio is going to finish with 1000ish yards and a couple TDs. A ton of folks are saying,"well ATL is going to be behind a lot, so they have to throw." It doesn't matter if Matty has to throw if he's pummeled on every play. I think more often than not, ATL's score line is going to end like:

ATL 3 - 24 ---
ATL 13 - 35 ---
ATL 14 - 31 ---

Who's going to get those TDs?Probably Roddy with all his short slant routes.

I also have Ryan as my QB and Roddy on the bench... While I generally like having the QB/WR combo, that's putting a lot of eggs into basket that has a hole in it.

Yup, it's sad because I traded for Julio and Ellington by giving away Gio, Hopkins, JBell to a guy that was 0-4. Now we're both at the bottom of the standings. I can't see any way that ATL's situation gets better unless they give away Julio for a couple of offensive linemen before the trade deadline. Their line is THAT bad to me. Of course, they don't play fantasy so they'll wait for the '15 draft and probably go all out on linemen.

I'd be doing everything I can to trade Julio for something of equal value... the o-line will not/can not be fixed. It's not like ATL is getting OL back anytime soon, 4 are done for the year. They are toast and Ryan/Roddy/Julios value is toast.

I can see playing Roddy (up and down), but anyone else on that offense is a game of Russian roulette with a bullet in every chamber IMO. Yeah I'll be proven wrong here and there (the only reason I'm having a hard time trading Julio), but the outlook is not good. At all.

I just needed some confirmation that I wasn't the only one seeing this car accident happening in front of our eyes before I started shopping him around.
