They're smoking the trout and shrimp right now. Wind permitting, I'll be there Saturday morning.

depends on if you want to get your limit of 15-20 count shrimp with 7 throws of a cast net.

I heard someone caught two 10 pound trout on back to back casts. I don't have confirmation of it though. Second hand story.

i am hearing yes. All over the lake. Shrimp are pouring into the lake and birds are everywhere.

I've been doing very well lately taking my canoe out at Calcasieu Point in the LNG Canal. It really gets good this time of year, I guess because of the deep water.
