What are some of the obvious and not so obvious that you think will happen? And what story line are you most excited about?

1. Bran eventually becomes the most powerful being that has ever lived. He has basically become his own entity. In all of history a tree has never talked and bran has already spoken through one at his age. Possibly playing the biggest role in the battle of good and evil in the end.

2. So the mountain is definitely going to have some supernatural/dead but alive/weird transformation thing going on. GoT/HBO even set that one up. Side note: I hate Qyburn.

3. When I started typing this thread I had like two more things I thought were obvious but I've already forgot.

As far as excitement, Arya's story line is still on top for me. It has been from day one actually. The only time I've cried reading the book (don't hate) was when she asked if her next face was going to be another ugly one and he was like "no, it will be a pretty one, just like yours." Man that was awesome.

Theon should be pretty good too. It was another good quote to end that, when he mentions a man has to have a name. So he's broken away from being Reek finally and is a Greyjoy again.

Also, I need more Pate. He melts, you don't hear from him in 4 books and then, boom, he's back. I guess it's somebody pretending to be him?

Finally, wtf GRR Martin, give me book 6 already like you said you would.

Is the most important character in the series. He was the start and will be the finish.

Me too. A warging, faceless assassin is so badass.

Arya's story is top for me. I cannot wait to see where she goes and who she ends up killing.

Pate is widely considered to be Jaqen H'ghar. Or rather, Jaqen kills Pate in the AFFC prologue and disguises himself as Pate at the end.

Something like that. People say Bran's storyline is boring and I highly disagree. It's just a very late bloomer. Him and Jaime Lannister will have some kind of connection/meeting/whatever before the end.

I have a feeling that Robert Strong's identity as zombie Gregor will be revealed in front of the Faith. This will seal Cersei's fate. I would be shocked if Cersei survives the end of the series.

Another character who I would shocked if she survives at the end. Killing Raff the Sweetling is a big indicator for that, IMO

Out of all his characters, I think she is the most safe...at the moment.

From what I heard, Arya is also GRRM's wife's favorite character. Maybe he loves her enough.

I think Sansa is much safer than Arya.

I disagree. I see Sansa becoming a female version of Littlefinger and sealing her own fate.

She'll fall.

I love Arya's story and it's anyone's guess where she ends up.

Looking forward to Sansa's chapters in TWoW too. Littlefinger is a wildcard.

Arya has a better chance of dying than Sansa. Just my opinion.

My thing with that though is Pate melted. Everything we know is that a faceless man just kills somebody straight up, just based on skill not with some strange/unknown power which was the case with Pate right? I think I'm remembering that right.

Yea she has got to die. The red wedding was an incredible shock, but it didn't make fans mad. Just extremely surprised. Not killing Cersei would genuinely make fans mad. Which I didn't think he's out to do.

Also, she sucks. She should already be dead. Not because I hate her character but because she is a terrible ruler. Everybody is stupid to her, yet she makes zero good decisions. It's taken too long for things to catch up to her already IMO.

Agreed. She will always be on the fringe.

Cersei? Yea, her end is nigh.

I guess we'll see what happens when GRRM's zombie corpse releases it in 2025.

I don't think any more Starks will die. Winter is here and that is when they thrive.

Good point. I'm actually looking forward to hearing about Rickon. He has been inactive for too long.

In my heart I'd like to think that he's done killing Starks. Hopefully. Although a living dead Lady Stark was kind of stupid. I guess we'll get more of that story but I'd be fine leaving it where it is.

Ok one of my predictions came back to me.

Jon Snow isn't dead. Martin kills people from a different person PoV. Very rarely is somebody telling their own story when they get killed. The Lannister uncle, drawing a blank on his name, I hate seizures, is the only guy I can think of that died that way.

I'm ready to see Daenerys do something of substance. Time to let the dragons loose and wreck shite.

Keep waiting. She fricking sucks. Worst character with a major role in the entire series.

I'm pretty sure everyone believes Jon is still kicking.

I think Arya might somehow have to fall out with the faceless men. She can'tstay with them and keep her identity and overall character.

She's my favorite storyline as well.
