I probably saw Jason Lives the most. That movie cracked me up. Most of the kills were funny.

There is a great doc called Crystal Lake Memories (also an awesome oral history coffee table book). Well worth your time. My rankings are tough after the first few. I like all of them to some extent.

Final Chapter (4)
Jason Lives (6)
Friday 2
Manhattan (8)
Friday 5
Jason X
Friday remake
Friday original
Friday 3
New Blood
Jason Goes to Hell

Rankings 3-10 are fairly interchangeable. Hell is my least favorite, 4 and 6 are my top 2, everything else is close. Freddy vs Jason would fall in that middle category somewhere, too.

Surprised so many people have part 3 so low. I really enjoyed that one. Maybe because it was the first one I saw as a kid and it scared the hell out of me. Would love to see it in 3-D as it is intended to be seen.

I kinda like Manhattan...but it was more like Jason Takes a Cruise Ship. And how did that ship get out of Crystal Lake anyway?

And I would also add "Jason Goes to Hell" to your list. That never happened.

It's annoying how censored these flicks are on AMC even though they show worse stuff on Walking Dead these days.

I haven't really watched them much on AMC, but the films were forced to be severely cut before they were even released to theaters to get an R rating.

Great ranking, where would you rank Freddy Vs. Jason among them, though? For me it's definitely near the bottom. My ranking:

The Final Chapter
Jason Lives
Part 2
The New Blood
Part 3
Part 1
2009 Reboot
A New Beginning
Jason Takes Manhattan
Jason Goes To Hell
Freddy Vs. Jason
Jason X

My first post here, been a member for a while but never got around to posting until now. Been a long-time F13 fan and am hugely nostalgic for the series. Though the last four on my list I'm not a big fan of.

Our top four are exactly the same

While we're on the subject, what was the spooky noise supposed to be in the Friday the 13th movies? I always thought it was "kill kill kill chop chop chop," but it may just be "k k k cha cha cha."
