You have to have a good qb and I just don't see us being to win this game with 3 yards and a cloud of dust. This may be a question for the recruiting board but I always hear that our QBs have trouble grasping the playbook. You mean to tell me J Winston and FSU have just a simple system?

We're just not very good at developing QB's. Cam can probably change that. I'm not sure. We'll have to wait and see.

However, we've proven that we can beat any team even with mediocre QB play. Our defense needs to step up, and I think Jennings can get the job done against Ole Miss.

Maybe we should be 0-8 right now instead of 6-2. Since our QB sucks and all. There are teams with the same record as ours with better QBs, and worse records with better QBs. We can win despite the QB throwing for 300. 10 year track record of that.

To beat ole miss we need some type of return td and then we need the Def and special teams to give us short fields a good portion of the game.

i think our defense can hold up with ole miss, but our offense HAS to be more efficient...

The 41 pts we had was mostly due to special teams plus penalties,

jennnings is mostly inept so he'll have to pull one out of his arse

We will win if...D plays lights out, special teams has another great game and AJ doesnt frk it up. We will have to throw the ball some to not be 1 dimensional and that will be a problem.

Jennings couldn't get it done in one quarter against New Mexico State,. Now he's going against one of the best D's in the country

Yikes

Just to clarify ... you mean "this year" correct?

Because I'm sure plenty of teams have pummeled Ole Piss with mediocre or even crappy QBs in the past.

I would add Bo Wallace needs to have a off day. He's got one in him, I know he does. He just needs to release it and get it out of the way.

Makes you wonder what Miles sees in him.

He can manage the game but can do little else. I don't think that Miles wants a playmaker at QB. He would rather have a guy that manages the game and doesn't take risks with the ball. Mett was an exception. Sadly for us, Miles doesn't seem to realize that there are QBs out there that can both manage the game and make plays (Mauck and Flynn are examples).

Because that's the only time he's seen the field all year, right?

You don't have to wait. Miles will do nothing to get Harris ready for next year. Miles still believes in this season and that stubbornness to prepare a LSU for next year will haunt LSU and Miles this year and next year.

Who here saw Jennings throw the TD last weekend? Serious question. He looked better to me in the UK game, only took one sack I believe which is really his worst problem.

Jennings does what he is asked to do, by a coach with a bunch of wins under his belt. We keep on complaining, yet we are still winning games.
