Just take what the defense gives you.

You can establish the run by having a successful passing game too you know.

If you can't make it; it will be a long night. But please God don't consider 2nd and 7 a positive. Because it's not.

Not as athletic as most think IMO. Takes way too long making a decision to throw the ball. I would like to see him pull it down and commit to RUN a few times. When he does that he gets good yardage - when he doesn't hop around looking for a hole. There were several times against Kentucky when AJ could have gotten big positive yardage if he'd only pulled the trigger. Harris is good at this, but doesn't have the playbook down good enough at this point. I think AJ is still timid and worried about mistakes. He needs to tuck it and run instead of taking sacks.

Second half looked much better Saturday and I hope he continues to take control of the situation like we saw him do a few times later in the game.

I would love to see some designed QB draws after spreading the field with 3 or 4 wide, or hand it to LF after the dropback. That may give him some room to work around tacklers instead of running into a wall. Hey - it worked against us (Miss. St), and don't say "we don't have a Dak!" No, but we've got Buga, McGee, Williams, and Hilliard. Either of our QBs would excel at this too.
I know it won't happen, but doesn't hurt to dream!

I don't mind us running on first down, as long as it's UNPREDICTABLE. Show different formations that look like pass, and then run.

Simply lining up in a run formation and running the toss dive isn't going to cut it against good defenses like Ole Miss.

I actually wouldn't mind seeing more passing on first downs. Quick throws, maybe a long one to test them early.

Then, HB delay, off tackle, seam route, td.

Bump.

LSU ran on 29 of 34 first down plays.

I got one right! It worked.
