can we get an update a few weeks after you make the switch to see what you have screwed up on your new phone?
you have been through more that 2 iPhones a year on average if you got them when they first came out. That is what the tech folks refer to as user error.

yeah I'll post an update. I'll probably use this one till it dies. Charging port, home button, screen lock button or something will quit working. I'll back it up and see how far I can throw it. May get a few friends over and place bets. Set the over/under at 40 yards. Little too thin to get a good grip on.

samsung devices are much more expensive to repair..
their screens are typically twice as much as an iphone.. something to consider if you're not a careful user..

Haven't broken a lot of screens. Do Samsung screens break as easily as iPhone screens?

haha iphone user for 6 years and haven't broken a one. What are you doing to these phones?

You're getting understandably defensive, but if the numbers you posted are true, you really are the problem and are not a good judge of "doing nothing wrong." And the waterproof phone they're talking about is the Samsung Galaxy S5 Active LINK / and you probably should look into it if you're switching to Android and have your track record with phones.

Will this update address anything with wifi. Does anyone else frequently get bumped from their wifi? I have the 5s and I'm not the only one who has encountered this issue.

Well a couple have gotten wet.
Had to jump in a pool to get a kid that fell in the water once.
Slipped on some sort of algae near a lake trying to get a dog out of the water and fell in. Was a concrete barrier that he couldn't climb up.
A good friend of mine bumped his drink and it spilled on one
One got crushed when an SO stepped on it with a high heel. It had fallen out of my pants pocket while I was in the shower. Pants were laid on the bed.
One I just plane dropped getting out of my truck (stock height) and it exploded. Guess it hit a rock the perfect way.
Those are the ones I'll take credit for and can understand why.
About 5 more have had buttons and things go out.
And I've gotten the new phone every time a new one has come out. Sure I'm missing a couple but that's the run down.

Not sure. I haven't had wifi issues with either my 6 or my work 5s

My kids have broken 2 ipads so we put all devices they touch in otterboxes. You may want to look into that.

Yeah they work good. Can't stand trying to get the soft rubber out of my pocket though.
Edit: ell 13 prolly won't believe this either.

not very familiar with the new phone, but I have heard that it bends fairly easy, is this true?
Posted on 10/20/14 at 11:34 am to Ford Frenzy
Slightly more scientific
And that's one video... that everyone linked and watched. Since then, there's been practically nothing about the phones bending. You would think as more and more phones were sold, if these phones were so susceptible to bending, we would be hearing about it everywhere.

I just hear about it from all of my friends, don't have it so I really don't care...was just asking.
