It very well could be. I can see about 100 scenarios that have Ohio State as the first or second team out.

Good news is that this team is going to be really good in 2015. Hardly lose anyone.

The Big Ten might not have a good enough view in the public's eye to overcome that, though.

Ohio State probably loses again anyway, so I'm not too worried about it.

The public's eye doesn't matter. It's the committee.

I agree that there may be another loss although there's really only one chance for it and that is Nov 8 at Sparty.

Not sure what you're bitching about, they're still outside the top 10. But if they win their confers and finish with one loss of course they have to be in the discussion

Their conference is shite. Arkansas could probably win the Big 10 title.

Just because your team struggled with Arkansas doesn't mean they are any good. They haven't beat anyone with a pulse. They finish under 500 in most conferences.

Oh, look - an idiot from the other terrible "power" conference. Duke routinely plays in your conference title game.

I'm sure the committee doesn't see the Big Ten in a good light, either.

It's the worst of the Big 5 conferences, and they know that.

Arkansas would be a top 3 team in that conference, to be fair.

Not the Big Ten. Not the ACC.

Well the most valid comparison (albeit limited) would be Rutgers-Arkansas from last year. Although Arkansas is better than last year, Rutgers is probably better than their 6-6 record last year in the AAC. They are probably quite comparable. Rutgers appears to be a middle of the pack team in the Big 10. Arkansas would probably be a middle of the pack team as well, not in the top 3.

There is no evidence to indicate this besides a close loss at home to Alabama, who was coming off a tough loss themselves.

Your bias shows in your attempt overrate Arkansas because they barely lost to you. They are still below average. You played a bad game yet still won; that doesn't make Arkansas any better though.

I agree. The 4-4 Bobcats are having a tough time in the MAC.

Also, I'm fricking with you. Mom's a Wolverine so i grew up with a hate for y'all and have nothing of substance to contribute to this discussion.

The hate clouds everything up, don't you see
