Wisconsin-Whitewater coach Lance Leipold has reached 100 wins faster than any other coach in NCAA history.

With the Warhawks' 52-3 win against Wisconsin-Eau Claire on Saturday, Leipold improved to 100-6 as a head coach. Leipold has guided the Warhawks to five Division III national championships since taking over as the team's coach in 2007.

I know there will be the typical assholes in this thread saying this is not a big deal because it's division 3. Those folks are ignorant and can go pound sand.

5 championships in 7 years. 100 wins in 106 tries. This guy could be going onto to greener pastures very soon.

You would think he might want to try moving up, but he must be happy there which i understand why. Good for him.

To be fair, the team had undefeated regular seasona the previous two years before he took over, only losing to Mount Union each time, so it's not too crazy.

Winning is a big deal regardless of the Div.

In some ways Div III is a bigger challenge.

100-6 is nutz

Not when you are Wisconsin-Whitewater or Mount Union. They are the only 2 programs in D3 with any type of name recondition.

Since 1996, 15/18 D3 football titles went to those 2 teams.

Leipold is legit.

Prior to him becoming head coach, Whitewater was 57-23 the previous seven years. They are now 100-6 since his arrival.

That being said, Whitewater didn't come out of nowhere. I read somewhere that they were 29-2 the previous two seasons before he started out as head coach.

Hired as Buffalo's new coach.

UW-Whitewater, this season, is 10-0, ranked No. 1, and in the national quarterfinals.

Vince Kehres at Mount Union is off to a 24-1 start with his only loss being to WWW in the Stagg Bowl last season.

That's ridiculously impressive at any level of competition in any sport.
