He did throw for nearly 350 and 2 TDs against the best d today.
He ain't washed up yet and it's risky to invest a first round pick in a QB unless you are ABSOLUTELY SURE this is the guy you want.
Yeah it worked in Green Bay but that shite rarely happens.

Brees had one bad pass, and yes it was costly. Outside of that he shredded arguably the best defense in league. The running game was nonexistent all game, and they knew Brees would be throwing... Yet overall he played well despite that. So much stupid on here.

Trade some picks to the Rams for Austin Davis.

I honestly don't think anyone is worth a 1st this year. Maybe a 2nd.

He is no longer clutch. I would rather rebuild. He has cost us every game. And we have won in spite of him

I'd imagine a bunch of teams are going to hop on him once Bradford gets back from his ACL/whatever leg injury he has. I think the Saints should really consider him. Get a decent QB to learn under Brees for the cheap.

Clint Trickett is terrible. Pass.

Bradford will not be back in St Louis.

I disagree. Why would St. Louis not put AD on the market? There will be a lot of desperate teams looking for a decent QB on the market, and I would bet you that Stl is looking to cash in with some draft picks for him.

Saints have the tools to be a Super Bowl caliber team and Brees can lead us to a Super Bowl. Our biggest liabilities right now are.
1) Piss poor secondary
2) lack of pash rush from front 7
3) Lack of play making WR, we have a TE who does this but we need more.
4) O-line has been hit and miss
Brees not being his normal self is like #10 on this list. You don't draft a QB, when you have a hall of Fame QB with still some years on his career left. The reason GB drafted rodgers is because they knew Favre was within a year or two of retirement and he just wasn't the same.
Our defense has to improve front to back before we think about drafting Brees replacement.

But when it counts at the end of games, Brees and the offense has been so damn anti clutch they just freeze up for the past year and a half, especially on the road.

System QB, not going to be good in the NFL.

The way Davis has looked, he's the better option for them going forward. Bradford has been injury prone. Why not take the cheap option of having Davis? I'd be very surprised to see Bradford back in St. Louis.

Good point. Guess we'll have to see.
Anyways, if we decide to go QB in the draft, it should be in the 3rd/4th round imo. We need a ball hawking LB like that dude from Miss St. (he's like 6 ft 5.) We also need another CB on the other side of Lewis. Dixon and White have been pathetic this season. I have yet to have any hope for SJB but we will see. An Guard would be nice as well in the first 3 rounds.
