Defense made the stop. bullshite call from the refs was the difference. Don't hide from it.

As much as I hate to say it, there's some truth in this. One completion in our last two drives. Brees screwed us in the 4th with that int.

Detroit may have drove and won regardless (after a punt), but that INT was atrocious....at least make them drive the field and score on you...don't just hand them the game.

Totally agree that Brees (and arguably the aggressive play-calling on that series) just lost that game for the Saints.

Refs still bail them out and we have no time to even come back

The int was terrible but when the refs make the playing field that slanted, there's no room for error.

You can't overlook a bogus PI call.

Did we make mistakes? Yes! However, no one touched Bush, it was a reach around and the ball was knocked down. If that was pass interference, how was it not pass interference on Meacham on the last pass of the game?

I am sure that is what Sean was asking as well. The NFL has major issues with officiating, if they didn't they would have a gag order policy in place that fines players and coaches if they publicly complain. Hell, they obviously have instructed announcers on TV to keep their mouth shut as well. I am tired of watching games that are decided by bad calls.

Get your head out of your arse.

The Saints did not make the plays to win today, there's no denying that.

But neither did the Lions, and they were kept in the game by officiating.

That's a problem.

Explain to me what's funny about that? Had that PI not been called, the game is over. Period. How can you say that did not directly affect the outcome of the game?

It's a fact.

Not what ya want when the game is on the line. He's running on fumes.
