Plays with ferocity on special teams, has great football instinct, and knows how to get into other players heads (getting Florida's 6th year senior to hit him).

He could be very very special next year

Could be. But let him be his own person.

Him and Dwyane Thomas will be disgusting next year together.

Have you forgotten the impact Tyrann had as a true freshman? I think Adams is going to be a top 10 pick but he is not even close to TM7 at the college level. Just go look at a highlight tape to remind yourself of what that guy did in two seasons.

No. There will never be a playmaker as good as him. I'm convinced we would have won the 2012 championship with him

More like Eric Reid, IMO.

Adams has a great future in the traditional safety role. I think a player like D Thomas fits the Tyrann mold better, but I've never seen a player like the Honeybadger.

I have been comparing him to Mathieu since I saw tape on him from one of the All-Star games. I am not sure that he has the ball skills (does anyone?), but he is that type of sparkplug player, I think.

He is quick like Tyrann.

Man, I miss him.

I was thinking last night how much I miss him. All of our DBs go hard after the ball when they are making tackles but NOBODY will ever be as good as TM7 was.

Agreed as far as play. But his attitude and posture and smack are right up there with HB... Team is different with him and Beckwith on the field...

Yes, he has the potential to be better defensive player than Chad Jones for sure, but Jones was also a kick returner and punt returner (I think we all remember that State game that he won almost by himself with the awesome TD return and incredible defensive play to save it for us). Also, Jones had some huge moments as a true freshman. He had a big game in the SECCG and had two sacks and the forced fumble that gave us the go-ahead score against Bama with under a minute left in that one. Without him, we might not have won that game and went on the BCS Championship Game.

Adams has awesome closing speed and hits really hard - he is an exciting player.
