Yeah, most of this happened in the first two episodes. I think it took them a bit to figure out the way they want the zombies to be portrayed. I didn't care for the use of the rocks cause it showed they still had thought processing skills that humans exhibit. The door knob turning didn't bother me as much as the fact Morgan's wife seemed to know that was her home... like she was a lost Alzhiemer's patient instead of a pretty much mindless creature.

I agree with all of this. They've been pretty consistent after the early episodes.

The walkers get slower without food. In humans, one of the first things that slows down is cognition, because the brain runs almost exclusively on sugar. I think it's conceivable that the zombies are generally becoming slower and "dumber" over time as less humans are available for fuel.

Holy shite, did I just write the series finale?

Finale would be the group finds out that the zombie process can be completely reversed by applying baking soda on the head of the afflicted. Upon learning this, they then reflect back on those they killed, especially loved ones, who could have been saved.

Well she wasn't eaten, so must have either gotten bit and escaped or died accidentally, eg, fell and broke her neck.

Series finale

Rick wakes up in the hospital, looks over and sees a dead plant and no fluid in his IV. He calls for help but no answer so he goes to bathroom. Then he tries his door only to realize a gurney is pushed against it he then looks like I just dreamed this.

Scene fades out as the music cues.

maybe not in a well but possibly in that river that Darryl falls down the cliff in to...remember that is where he found her doll or teddy bear or whatever...

ETA: she was in that barn remember..Otis had found her and brought her back cause Herschel kept walkers alive in there...

Series finale... Rick leads them all to a safe haven, but goes back to GA in search of some of his old keepsakes. He falls victim to one of Morgan's boobie traps, but still manages to make his way back to the hospital, finds his old room, and lies down. Series ends as he closes his eyes for the last time.

Series finale

Rick opens his eyes as he wakes up and sees Lori sitting on Shane's lap. Rick then wishes he was dead.

I think it's safe to say from the bite mark on Sophia she was bitten, and probably turned very quicky. She was only bitten and not eaten so, she probably was bitten soon after rick sent her on her way and panicked and kept running till she was lost.

Series finale.

After arriving in DC, the group manages to locate and clear out a government research facility and hook up with a genetics expert.

They test Judith's DNA and compare it with their own, discovering that the virus skips a generation. The expert and Eugene are confident that by using Judith's blood, they can isolate the gene which is effected by the virus and engineer it out of human DNA. Judith has been carrying the secret the entire time.

Maggie's son, born after Glenn's death and also not expressing the gene, will make the perfect match with Judith for starting a generation of immune humans.

Unfortunately, there is no cure for the others and they must die. In order to protect, Judith and her mate, they incinerate the Earth with nuclear weapons, destroying themselves and all remaining walkers and infected humans, leaving a clean slate for the next generation.

Yeah. They will have to wait a while before emerging. Thus, the follow up series.
