rewatching the episode, sure did seem like bob was bitten.
maybe he was outside grieving? that's what it seemed like anyways. like he didn't know what to do about telling the rest of them.

And if he was bitten, then the terminus guys saved him for later purposes. They just so happend to take a quick bite on the leg.

Looking back on it, I think Bob was just shaken up about the last day or two: he was nearly offed at Terminus, he was nearly drowned/eaten by a walker, they have a safe place for the first time in a really long time and he has a girl who digs him. Remember he said he was used to always being the last one standing and watching everyone around him die. I think he was just happy that he was still around a part of a group and relatively safe. I think they were tears of joy/relief.

Yeah. The whole "one more kiss" thing then going outside and smiles turning to tears....something was wrong for sure.

Yeah, doesnt make sense. Something about Bob just seemed off all episode. Initially I thought he was going to take a sniper round to the chest or something when walking with Gabriel, then I thought he was done with the water walker. Something was just off.

If he was bitten, wouldn't he be bleeding and feeling like shite? Jim started getting sick immediately when he was bitten.

I get the feeling there is way more to the Bob story than we know. And it doesn't involve him crying cause he got bit. Not gonna speculate further though

There was foreshadowing of father Gabriel "leading them into a trap , for their squirrels"
Bob lived in the forest for a while. ..per the flashback when Daryl found him. Probably was aware of whatever is marking these trees with signs..
Plus gareths conversation with him at the end...
I think he knew exactly what they walked into.

That would be interesting. The only thing that would be weird with that is they found Bob when they were at the prison. They've been on the move for the better part of a year. They'd have to really explain more of Bob's back story to make that work. Fwiw, I think they're going to keep in line with comic story line and it should all play out in the next 2-3 episodes.

Don't follow the comics.
The line of "cosmic justice it would be you.." doesn't sit well with me. Bob has been a minor character. ..But now the new super villain of the show is speaking to him like they know each other.
Could be way off. That's part of the fun though..speculating
