Soon as in maybe 2016? Why so slow to open?

Also, is City Pork still planning on opening another place down the road where Dempsey's used to be?

Not sure what is taking Pat's so long. As for City Pork, the answer to your question is yes.

Seems like forever since Pat's started renovations. Pork is supposedly opening before year's end.

I hope when Pat's finally does open, that it won't be a huge letdown.

And I love that Cubano at City Pork, and sometimes their duck gumbo.

It's kinda sad that Piccadilly's crawfish etouffee is better than places like Chimes and City Cafe. At least Chimes is edible. City Cafe should be ashamed of their crappy etouffee.

I've been to Pat's in Henderson several times, and it was always hit-and-miss. The turtle soup and gumbo tasted like swampwater and from what I could tell, weren't roux-based. The camp-style dishes were good from what I remember, but pricy.

Tons of options in that area for food. I can see City Pork doing well, but if Pat's doesn't bring their A game, they could be in trouble if they ever do open.

City Pork just put the sign up last week, so I'd say it won't be long.

Anthony's building is done but there was an article in the Business report a few weeks ago that said they weren't moving until 2015 - not sure why.
