What should happen is the elimination of the divisions and take play a round robin all year within the Al and NL with a little inter league play. Then take the top 4 in each League.

Best of 5 is utter BS..Baseball in all rounds of the playoffs should be Best of 7.
Not that it would've made a difference this year, as KC and SF played somewhat dominant ball despite the relatively low margins of victory, and more games would not have slowed their roll.

So you want a long drawn out playoff like NHL and NBA? MLB has it absolutely perfect as far as their playoff system goes.

But I agree that all the major sports have dilluted the playoffs for money...
