Wow! You know it's bad when MSNBC has to write ads to tell the Dem leaders how to respond.
I find hilariously ironic that they say "Don't insult my intelligence" in an article that is geared towards telling people too stupid to know how to respond to a simple yes or no question.
This will be a bloodbath...

And then there is the St. Peter method. Just say this 3 times: "I tell you, I do not know the man!"

I have a hunch that Alison Lundergan Grimes is a PUMA who voted for McCain in 2008 and Romney in 2012. That's the only thing that makes sense. She freely admits to voting for Hillary in 2008 primaries, so we know she's not one of these folks who believes that the secrecy of the ballot is sacred. And most people would have presumed that she voted for the Democratic nominee, so it certainly wouldn't have made headlines if she had admitted to it. The only logical conclusion is that she believes that admitting who she voted for would have been a bombshell that would hurt her, which means that she must have voted for McCain and/or Romney.

Interesting theory.
But why wouldn't she just lie and say she voted for Obama? She's a politician so it's not like she has an aversion to lying. And in this case she can't get busted for it.

Unless she admitted it to someone who perhaps has a video of it. It's why I think W never denied snorting coke, because if he was lying, there was always a chance that he could be exposed a liar. Certainly Clinton never thought Monica Lewinsky would keep a semen-stained dress and blab about it to Linda Tripp, when he went on TV and said, "I did not have sexual relations with that woman." In this day and age of camera phones, youtube, text messages, emails, security cameras, etc., perhaps some politicians have concluded that obfuscation and evasion is better than lying.

Grimes was a freaking Dem elector for Kentucky, IIRC. She was on the slate of people set to vote for Obama in DC if he had carried Kentucky.
Her not wanting to admit voting for him is pretty much an admission that Obama is toxic to Kentucky voters.

But what if she didn't vote for him, should she lie?

she should, obviously, tell the truth
or she can try to avoid answering, and lose support from everybody by coming off as a complete weasel
