So none of this ever happened. Nice.

Check with your vet about Ace. Don't know if it's appropriate for this situation but it's a sedative
I'll do that Monday, my main concern is him somehow getting the cast off and the less he moves around the better I feel.
Artie I wish it never happened I had to go into more debt to get my retarded dog patched up. His leg is broken in four places

Sorry to hear that man. The tone made it sound like your dog was dead. I'm glad it was just a busted leg all things considered.
How old is your dog? Was amputation an option?

He is five months and I guess amputation is always an option. He is not out of the woods yet we will just have to see. I'm glad MJ2 didn't have to come over here and shoot him. There was no way I could've done it.

Glad he's getting fixed up man. Id be a wreck if that happened to one of my did. And like you, no damn way i could shoot them

Just posting an update on Curtis,
He seems to be restless today, and won't stay on his pallet. If an OT vet reads this, is there any reason we shouldn't keep him sedated? Yesterday he just laid there and whimpered, today he won't sit still. I'm worried he could be doing irreparable damage to his leg. Is Benadryl ok for dogs?

Change the title of your OP to see if anyone has any recommendations for your latest issue with your dog.

I'm like 95% sure it is.

Pretty sure it is. I know I've heard lots of people say they've given it to their dog and none of them died....Well, some died, but it was because it was 20 years ago, so the dog just got old, but you know what I mean.

Not a vet, but I have given my dog Benadryl many times when she has allergy flare -
ups, it helps her rest.
