DALLAS, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – On Friday morning Baylor Hospital in Dallas confirmed a patient with ‘ebola similar symptoms’ also triggered a positive on a verbal screening questionnaire.
Although a positive blood test has not been confirmed, sources says it’s not unusual to have a patient screen positive considering the wider net for ebola now over Dallas. A positive screening means the patient met some of the criteria to cause concern.
A source at Baylor Hospital Dallas says the patient came to the Emergency Room through a private entrance and went straight to isolation. The source says Baylor transferred the person to Presbyterian Hospital a short while later.

Call me when they get the blood test back. No need to start a thread for every Dick or Sallie that shows up to the hospital with ebola symptoms.

Careful not to reveal anything about the patient’s identity, Civale emphasized the patient had only screened positive (i.e., reported risk factors and showed symptoms that could indicate an infection) for Ebola, but had not yet tested positive for the virus.

Will there be a thread for every pt who is being screened for Ebola?

If so, just start a super thread so that Scruffy can avoid having to look at new thread titles to skip daily.

A new thread every time is fricking dumb.

Time to start a petition demanding Texas secede. They've been wanting to anyway.

Typical Dallas, nobody is giving them attention anymore so they have to find a new case.

Patient has officially been admitted to the Presbyterian Hospital. Confirmed the patient had contact with Thomas Duncan.

CDC also now has 76 Presbyterians isolated and locked up to Ebola monitoring.
