Four Americans were infected in the US in 1990. The sky did not fall then.

and yet this is the biggest outbreak ever. Why? because in the past full on quarantines of whole cities were put into effect. No one is even talking about that now even though it's the biggest ever.

I think disease scares are just huge diversions, in this case, away from the colossal failures in the ME.

Did SARS kill us all? Swine flu? Mad cow disease? No they did not.

Media sensationalism of ebola is just a way to get clicks and/or eyeballs. It has also served as a catalyst to finally get the 10% market correction people have been expecting.

I am sure it will serve as a means to sell more survivalist gear and artificially inflate the values of precious metals as well.
