Has anyone been to this? I reserved a Days Inn room in downtown for next weekend, not sure if I'm going or who I'm going with yet but I hear it's fun.

I've been. It's beautiful there. There are some good hikes in the area if you want to get mobile as well.

It's extremely trashy, but fun to do once. Helen is a nice area (there are no nice hotels) and I like hiking and fly fishing up there, but Oktoberfest is like PCB in the mountains.

yep. it's GA's answer to Gatlinburg but for Oktoberfest it's def more like PCB.
There are some great hikes and secret camping spots nearby. Emphasis on secret.
