Kids with ugly smiles

I have a friend whose kid has the funniest ugly smile.I've ever seen. You don't mess with people's kids or comment...but this kid...
Shows all his teeth and looks like he is constantly just busted arse or smelled something rank. I laugh everytime I see his pictures. Kid must be 4-5 years old. It's borderline hideous but hilarious. I always wondered if parents notice this stuff or just overlook it.

There's a good chance that he won't grow out of that. Typically, people with weird or unsightly smiles stay that way throughout their entire life.

It depends if it's just a funny smile he does sometimes or if it's a permanent disfigure. Permanent and can't be helped--kid is cute no matter what. But a friend of mine was just telling me she got her kid's school pics back and "He did the goofy smile again! I wish he would just smile like he normally does."

My kid has gapped teeth that are not fixable at the moment. I always worried about other kids picking him or laughing at him. I didn't realize i had to worry about adults being such thoughtless assholes, too.
