re: Pierre Thomas - One of the most elusive running backs in the NFL

Why doesn't he get more playing time? Is he essentially going to become Sean Payton's Kevin Faulk?
I think it had a lot to do with the durability issues we had in the 2010 season. Payton seems to want to keep him fresh for the end of the season.
And it kind of made sense when we had backs like Reggie and Sproles who were also great receiving threats and created matchup nightmares for defenses. Personally, I'd rather PT every day. He did have 77 receptions last season and put his team on his back for the Atlanta game.
What I don't like is when we give Cadet 63 snaps and then rolling him out of the backfield before the play starts. There are very, very few situations where Cadet should be on the field before PT
He has 152 of our 376 snaps, so that isn't too bad.

We have the #1 offense in the NFL, so I don't think suck is the right word.
Based on what stat, Total yards per game? We are #2 behind Indy.
Based on Turnovers, we are bottom 1/3 of the league which is a way more important stat than how many yards you earn a game.

I hope they give him more touches the rest of the season and stop throwing the ball to Colston who only catches half the passes that are thrown to him.
This is a new trend for him. He's been one of the best players in the NFL at drop %.
He also tore it up at the end of last year when he got healthy. I don't know what his problem has been, but we need him to get his head out of his arse.\

Look at the receptions and targets. Colston needs to be moved to the side.
PT is

I never said that Colston was playing well this year.
He was great at the end of last year though, so I think something is up with him health wise.

For who though? Toon?

That 4th down against the Vikings is one of the more incredible plays I've ever seen. Not only did he get the first down, but I have no idea how he held onto the ball!

His screens for TDS in the Patriots, Vikings, and Super Bowl games were beautiful.

Game changer that hit he took against the 9ers. We win the game if not for that. Pretty sure that would be called helmet to helmet now.

That play LOST that game for us... Not because of the fumble. It knocked PT out and we stood no chance after that.

Saints battled that game for sure but the game was exhausting, just felt like we were pissing upwind most of the time. Amazing we should/could have won that game. That turnover was a huge momentum shift and confidence booster for the seashits.

I think if that same game and same play was played in the Dome it would have been called helmet to helmet. There were a couple of other instances of home cooking that happened in that game. Not that I'm whining, or sour grapes, just when the home team is really physical and violent, it usually benefits from some no-calls or bang-bang spot judgements like that. Just a thing I've noticed over the years. In the Dome, the dubious horse collar or body slam on Drew by the visiting team, gets the flag. On the road, maybe not so much.
