there can be an argument for:

2-6
3-5
4-4
or
5-3

I'm going with 4-4.
wins against UK, Bama, and aTm

However I would loooove to add OM to that list and would even trade it and take a bama loss

Home against Bama. They are the decline of the week right now.

3-5 would be nice improvement and 4-4 would be huge for this young team going into next year. Hope we can pull it off.

Why do I read crap like Saturday Down South or Fan Buzz? In this week's SEC Power rankings we are listed right behind Kentucky who is listed right behind Arkansas. Of course Bama, Ole Miss and the Aggies are listed ahead of those so according to these guys our winning is done.

Someone else mentioned rather beating ole miss than Bama

Think Ole Miss could be a game that reminds people of the 00-03 stadium atmospheres. If ole miss and lsu win this week end which they are supposed to. Gonna be fun. If you have ever been to away games and seen other fans , 100% ole miss is the one to beat

It's impossible to predict how we will do down the stretch given our youth/issues and the difficult task of forecasting the growth or lack thereof that we will or will not have, but I hope and think the following has a good chance of happening:

-Kentucky WIN
-OM/Bama 1 WIN
-Arky/A&M 1 WIN

8-4 regular season
+ Bowl Win
= 9-4

If the above happens, and I think it will, I will be beyond pleased with how the 2014 season played out and will be VERY VERY excited about our potential in 2015 and 2016. If the impossible happens and we win out the 3 homes games and split the two road wins to finish 9-3, I think LSU starts the 2015 season in the Top10, potentially even Top6. At the very least, I think we finish 7-5 and I will still be pleased and excited....after beating Kentucky we will win at least 1 of the final 4 games.
