Couldn't have done it any better. I remember watching it live it almost seemed the DT was trying to slant the way pocic was blocking him however. Can't really tell on my phone right now though

You should see the block on Fournette's dive over the pile. Pocic flattened him. I posted a pic of it in a thread. I'll bump it.

Porter got beat but it worked out perfectly as the nose tackle ran past the play.

Left guard made a key block as well.

Pocic (77) played right guard on the play right? If so, maybe the NT ran past the LG, but Pocic blocked his guy into the deep center then right side endzone. LF scored and Pocic was taking his guy to the bleachers.

So basically there should never be an excuse for not scoring a td whenever LSUs at the 2-3 yard line. Just send Fournette over the pile…no worries.

Based on video previous reviews from this board, it was clearly the MLB's screw up. I mean he just runs right into the back of the line, amiright?

I love his intensity. He went all "The Blind Side" on that poor guy.

schmoke and a pancake.

i really like pocic. i think he makes mistakes at times due to age and they really ask a lot of him but they do so bc they think he can handle it.

WTF

Porter was perfect. He sealed him off and led him up the field, great footwork.

I have liked Pocic from the time he first committed. He came down from Illinois as one of the best in the Midwest, took on the heat and the SEC, and has risen to the top. He's also still young and continue to get better.

That's how you "hold your block until the whistle" folks. All I can say is wow, dude is a leader by example of effort like that spreads to the rest of the Oline they will be dominate and LSU will be a 4th quarter Animal.

Kinda reminds me of Spikes grabbing Hester's facemask back in 2007:

Florida is some facemask grabbing mofos on the goal line.
