First BR game since Florida 2007. Will be coming in Saturday from New Orleans. What time should I leave in order to get a decent parking spot and pre game meal?

If LSU beats KY I would expect a pretty decent turnout for the game. If you are looking for decent free parking, probably need to be on campus no later than 2 pm. I don't know when the homecoming parade is running that day, so that may factor into your decision as well

12:00-1:00 would be the latest without stressing out like crazy

I fear that a lot of people will be on the Ole Miss bandwagon and show up looking for cheap tickets outside the stadium. I would hate to see a ton of their fans inside the stadium.

Not gonna happen. This crowd will be electric for the game...the atmosphere will be significantly different than the last several LSU/Ole Miss games in BR......when the crowd is usually flat to start the game.

I made a 7:00 kickoff leaving New Orleans at about 3:30, but I don't recommend it. I parked in Tigerland (after trying to get into the hayfield) and practically jogged to the stadium.

As it was 2010 Bama - it was well worth it.

Be here around halftime and you'll be able to sit on the 50 yard line about 25 rows up.
