This weather on the Northshore is terrible

Radar looks awful. Lightning in uptown but rain is imminent.

I'm a block from the lakefront. Went down there just before the rain started and some of the biggest waves I've seen we're coming over the seawall. Pretty intense. Then some little a-hole in a miata peels out in one of the puddles from the waves and fishtails in the middle of lakeshore drive and almost hits a guy on a bike.

It's already calmed down. Didn't last long. Think there is a second wave coming though.

We've been without power for about 45 minutes in mandeville.

Fierce winds, had some hail, but the worst seems to be past.
