Anyone else been to this? Went to it this year, pretty good event. Nothing terrible scary, but some of the haunted houses are pretty good.

Going next week. Wife and I haven't been but the couple we're going with have been a few times. They love it.

Halloween and The Walking Dead houses are 2 can't miss houses, the Roanoke house sucks. If the line is any longer than 30 minutes I'd skip it if you're strapped for time.

We went this past Thursday, and ended up going back on Friday to see what we missed. Funny enough, it was more crowded on Thursday.

Hopefully it won't be too crowded on Friday. We bought fast passes, but I would be willing to bet that most people bought them as well.

Just got back. Get the damn shared Private RIP tour for about 30 bucks more than fast past. no waiting in line

Best Houses to me were in Order:

Dollhouse of the damned
walking dead
Halloween
giggles and gore
dust till dawn
aliens versus predator

dracula and roanke both were not very good

If you are going get there early stay in the park at loading zone and run to Halloween and Doll house right by each other and do them first then go to Walking dead and avp right by each other too. Get the interactive app

I thought the Dollhouse was a little creepy especially the scene with the big babies, and was visually good, but thought it lacked on any good scare areas.

Walking Dead and Halloween had a couple of great areas....
Dusk til Dawn had a couple of good scenes..

Dracula and Roanoke were wastes of time.

What other benefits do you get on the private tour? Do you get ride access as well?

I'm a huge fan of the original Halloween. How accurate is the haunted house to the movie home?

Halloween was exact to the movie in scene order. I think the damn houses are too bright and they don't space anymore so I saw all the scares in most of the houses as I was behind my wife and daughter. I agree with the creepy babies, but that was my favorite part.

FOR RIP tours. You get no line access to two rides sit up front no wait at Bill and teds and at the end of the day you passes become fast passes but apparently now just for the rides. it takes 4 hours even without waiting on line. Tours start at 8 pm. I would still recommend this as they are only about 30-50 dollars more than fast passes. You need to do before you leave though. They do 15-16 groups per night and they told me they are already almost all booked. They have people for all groups but vacancies in some groups. You get 10% off with your annual pass.

If you are going I would be glad to tell you how to do it with fast pass or RIP and see all the house once and get a few extra in. (I go every year)

Went a couple years ago, and going again next week. It's okay. We're on a tight schedule (going for a karate tournament), so we're mainly doing it for a few more hours access to the rides. Bought the fast passes again. I couldn't believe the crowds last time. Some waits as long as 2 hours without the pass. I don't know how people do it without the fast pass.

It depends on when you go. I was there 9/25-28 without Express Pass. I averaged 6 houses per night with minimal waiting and saw Bill and Ted every night.

The longest lines I waited in were for Halloween and Walking Dead.

My ranking this year:

1) Halloween
2) Alien vs. Predator
3) Dollhouse
4) Giggles and Gore
5) From Dusk Till Dawn
6) Roanoke #MEAT
7) Walking Dead
8) Dracula Untold

Dracula was pure garbage. I'm also tired of The Walking Dead at Horror Nights. Halloween was/is incredible. It is my favorite house that they've done the 2 times I've gone. Don't waste your time with Rocky Horror unless you're really into the movie/show.

Pro Tip: Jump in line at Halloween, Giggles, or AvP after the last showing of Bill and Ted right before the park closes.

Also, they really need to expand the event next year. They've outgrown 8 houses, and the Twister area is going under construction after this year's event ends. The tent area where Halloween and Dollhouse are located is slated for future construction as well.
