Okay. So I watched the pilot and thought it was very meh. I have the others DVR'd but has it really gotten better or will I be disappointed?

It's entertaining enough to keep watching......Remember it's based off of a comic and it's not Christopher Nolan directing it, and it's a Fox production.......Not earth shattering but not bad

Unfortunately, this show has gone the route of Agents of SHIELD for me. I watched the pilot with eager anticipation and somewhat enjoyed it. Then the second episode was meh. By the third episode, I could not last more than about 10 minutes.
These shows just do not work for me because the lure is something is the universe of superheroes I enjoy but with the complete and utter lack of those superheroes. I thought the universe itself would be fun to watch. Turns out I was wrong. This show is just a cop procedural, which I am not overly fond of.

yeah if you arent a fan of this style then you probably wont like it. its very much about GCPD with some stories focusing on other characters like cobblepot. i thought the first 20minutes of last weeks episode was terrible, but it really turned around.

At least with Gotham you're told up front that there will be no traditional superheroes (like Smallville).
With SHIELD the superheroes are everywhere, but you're rarely allowed a glimpse of even the lesser supers.
