He has only slung it for 139 times in 5 games because is being asked to 'manage' the offense and not lose it for the team on that side of the ball, because they are so good everywhere else.

Would you take Carson Palmer over Russell Wilson?

Or Brian Hoyer? Or Andy Dalotn?

ETA: I guess the idiots are saying that if you don't pass a lot, you're a game manager.

I'm still shocked at how the cowboys went in there and dominated. Keeping Wilson contained in the pocket worked well for the Dallas D.

Closest guy to him on that list is Aaron Rodgers.

Wilson also has the second most sacks. So he has the 6th highest rating with maybe the worse line. Unreal how he can do that

Not coincidentally, you're trying to make this argument after Wilson's worst game of the season. The fact that the QB with the fewest passing attempts has the fewest passing yards per game should not come as a surprise. Also, that image you posted shows that this "game manager" is the 5th rated QB in the league among players with at least 5 starts. So, there's that.

Oh, and he won the Super Bowl last year FWIW. Not many game managers can say that.

Add Russels 45 yards a game rushing he is at 241 yards per game with 10 tds through only 5 games. So he averages 241 yards a game and 2 tds a game. If that is only managing then this world has lost it's mind

If your team owns the line of scrimmage, it doesn't matter who you are facing. 9 times out of 10, you're leaving with a "W".

Yep. Which is weird about the seahawks though. They have had one of the worst O lines in the NFL the past three seasons. Imagine what Lynch would be like with a good one

Has less than 4 more pass attempts per game than Russell Wilson.

Is Aaron Rodgers a game manager?

Given that Rodgers isn't asked to run the ball, are the Seahawks asking Wilson to do more than what the Packers are asking of Rodgers?

:mindblown:

You remember when the 7-9 Seahawks beat the saints in the playoffs?
