This is a tongue-in-cheek against-the-grain point I'm making, and if I'm the 9millionth person to do so, feel free to hire a hitman to rape me for repeating what many have already said.

If Delahoussaye makes the extra point, it's 21-17. Then 21-24. Then 28-24. Then Florida has a fourth and goal from the 1 and they have to go for it. Though it is somewhat likely that a Muschamp-coached team botches such a gift-wrapped opportunity, football's equivalent of sabermetrics tells us that Florida likely scores a touchdown to go up 31-28. LSU then turns the ball over on downs in their own territory and loses the game.

The moral of the story is: Les Miles is magic.

Lubing as we speak. I'll leave a copy of my hotel key in the lobby.

Has anyone gotten a screenshot of Miles' face when the SEC Network analyst brought up the miss in the post-game interview?

man, we really could play this game forever. isolate one factor, keep all other factors unchanged (ceteris parabis) and speculate outcomes.

it's fun but not that much fun.

I think you misunderstand what the hit means in hitman

It's the '90's. Hitmen have become more open-minded.

For that to happen, you have to believe our offense can actually score consistently and that's not what were doing

Hawthorne commented about 15 times that the missed point would cost us the win. Of course he also said "... and it splits the upright, oh wait, he missed it, right".

I thought about that also. Missing the extra point probably won us that game. Ironic
