Any decent DB is going to get ints when their d-line is getting pressure on the QB. That's the difference.

We got pressure last year and they both had 1 INT.

We had a decent pass rush last year, but our front 7 was still nothing like the Panthers front 7 in terms of pressure.

The Panthers and Eagles are on pace for less sacks than the Saints had last year.

Sacks aren't the only measure of pressure. Nobody would say our front 7 last year was on the level of the Panthers front 7.

It doesn't tell everything but it's pretty good sign.

No but you can't say there's no way the Saints D got more pressure when they averaged 1 sack more per game. And the Panthers front 7 doesn't explain Jenkins' numbers improvement.

The Bengals should've won but at least Carolina didn't.

Harper still sucks bad!!!

When the Bengals needed to complete a long pass...they knew just where to throw it.

Harper did nothing on his interception today. It was a lolworthy pass that happened to fall into his lap. he's still terrible in coverage.

They were not that good HERE.

People like to be miserable that keep up with what they are doing elsewhere.

Agreed. They were dogshit and they had to go. INT's that fall into someone's lap like Harper and Jenkins have had do no mean they suddenly are Revis.

Ricky Williams did pretty well after the Saints, but should we have kept him? Absolutely not. Sometimes it takes being fired to get better at your profession.

Jenkins still hasn't learned how to wrap up and tackle though. Andre Williams just made him his bitch.

Edit: BigBrod beat me to it

I also saw Harper getting pressures today. Idk but when they were on our defense it always seemed like they were a liability. Now they are gone and we signed a 50 mil safety. The other one is a first rounder, yet our pass defense got worse...
