If CFB players are going hungry should they be tested for PEDs?

How many weigh 20, 30, 40 more lbs than they did their senior year of high school? These kids train hard and burn a lot of calories. Packing on that much muscle while starving isn't going to happen unless they're on HGH.

Thoughts?

You gain muscle by training in conjunction with an excellent diet with a surplus of calories. Or by training with PEDs. Which is it?

You can gain muscle by doing both, but you can still gain muscle without PEDs

PED's are an epidemic in not only the NFL but major D1 college football.

But everyone turns the other way.

Those who have studied and researched PED's can see how painfully obvious it is that the majority of football players abuse them.

I think they eat just fine and do PEDs. I don't really care either but I was just wondering why I hadn't seen anyone ask the same question.

Yea they do. I don't care who does PEDs. That's not even the point of this thread. Its pointing out a glaring flaw in the pay for play argument I haven't seen anyone bring up.

Not sure how they starve. They all get the "best" food plan assigned to them. Plus pre game and post game meals made for kings

They had huge buffets in the main cafeteria when I was in school that were "football player only". Steaks, prime rib, etc. They definitely ate a lot better than the avg student.

The reason people aren't asking is because everyone already knows they are tested for PEDS.

Yea. But again, my point is there are some guys doing PEDs on every team but that's neither here jor there. All the NCAA has to do to make this go away is say "OK. I believe that you're going hungry. So lets come take a look at what's really going on here suoplement wise...unless you're not really going hungry". I bet these players change their tune real quick.

I went through 4 months of hell with little food and constant training as well as survival training during said time. I gained 25 pounds with no pid's and looked like a college football player. In saying that I feel certain they get more food than I did and do not know what hungry actually means atleast while in college.
