What happened to enjoying a victory?

We are fans, we don't turn our attention to the next opponent like a coaching staff and its players do after a typical "24 hour" rule. What happened to enjoying a victory? I don't know about most of you but a win this morning, no matter how it was obtained, is much more of an enjoyable feeling than our last two SEC game Sunday mornings that followed.

Are most of you so damn miserable that you can't just enjoy a tiger victory?

I'm happy. Those kids fought their asses off and I saw many positive things.

Hard to enjoy when you can see the overall big picture.

This place is filled with a bunch of old men and kids that have nothing better to do with their lives.

Would yall prefer a board full of thread subjects like the following?

"Enjoyed the win"
"We are getting better"
"Watch out kentcuky!"
"Congrats tigers!"

Or some truth?

I enjoyed the hell out of it last night.

But today I realize that we won't win many more games this year. Florida is a bad team. We don't even have a serviceable QB.

Maybe next year is our year. But I've given up on the QB position at LSU. It will always be a disaster. I just wish Les would recruit a game manager who won't make too many mistakes. We whiff on play making QBs

Not fair, I'm an old man and I'm ecstatic over the win. I saw several things to be optimistic about

Would our outlook had been better with a florida loss? Is it a guarantee we lose all the rest of our games? It's why you play the game. Enjoy victory my friends

Agree.

Lot of improvement last night. QB and PR coverage almost lost us that game. If we get adequate play from either, we win by double digits. If we get adequate play from both, we would have won by 20.

Les happened. I think it's fair to say that he has made victories more unpleasant to watch than just about any coach in college football history.

I saw a young team go on the road and fight hard for a victory. They could have easily folded and gave up but they continued to fight. I think we beat UK next week. After that Ole Miss will be tough, but Bama, Arky and A&M are all winnable games. All 3 of them have major issues just like we do.

Enjoying the win and pointing out the obvious deficiencies, particularly the coaching deficiencies, are not mutually exclusive.

I know that's a difficult concept for some of you who seem to think pointing out facts makes you a bad fan

TheBob likes to set his picture size for just big enough to not enjoy this victory...but too small to see future years. In other words, just enough to complain.

Remember, this is the guy who still swears that Russell Shepard should have been a QB at LSU.

There are no guarantees either way. Jamal Adams and Kwon looked good. Fournette can run the ball good. That was the good. Our QB situation is damn disaster area that won't be getting better anytime soon.

I went into that game numb. Wasn't going to get upset if we lost or lost badly. And, I wasn't going to be overjoyed with a win or a win in blowout fashion.

Kind of hard to get up and down on this roller coaster until we show consistency and improved playcalling.

It's called not being reactionary or living in the moment. Something the chicken littles that live and die on every dumb miles decision don't get. We backed into yet another win, doesn't change the truth, this team is poorly coached from the ground up and will struggle against even average teams
