AR .308 scope suggestions

Just inherited a .308 AR, and am looking for a scope under $300 to add to it. Will primarily be used for hog hunting In thick brush, so max power not that important.
I primarily bowhunt but would like to hear decent options from the OB.

When I still had my ar 308, before switching to a 300blk, I had a leupold vx2 3-9x50 on it. It was deadly accurate, the weight is the primary reason I sold it. I'd get a 5rd mag for it to hunt. I used a 30rd and it was way too heavy. I have a nikon prostaff 3-9x50 on my 300blk and it's a great scope as well. You can't go wrong with a nikon, leupold, vortex, or meopta.
