Question for superstitious people

Do you really think your rituals affect the outcome of events? Sports players/fans are probably the biggest group of believers.

I was hoping this thread wouldn't take this turn but knew it was inevitable. I hope it doesn't get derailed because I really want to hear the answers not related to religion.

I have overwhelming empirical evidence and undeniable results supporting my rituals. So yes, I truly do believe I affect the outcome. Every morning I've made waffles on UF game day the past 7 years we won. I made waffles this morning so just watch.

Yes. If my car radio volume is not on an interval of 5 I will have a bad day at work.
