What kind of GDCK is this? I've brutally murdered a lot of his cousins lately. I think he was out for revenge....he bit my shoe.

Had one just like that that took up residence in a bush in front of the house and everyday for about two weeks would lay on top of the bush and sun itself. One day it just disappeared.

Man I'm terrified of snakes and hate them as much as the next man but I wouldn't kill a garter snake. We've had the same one in our yard for the last 5 years or so. I see him every now and then but he's always slithering away from me whenever I get remotely close to him. I don't bother him, he doesn't bother me. Garter snakes are good to have around
