Doesn't matter because its already accepted but I like these sorta threads . I'm in a 12-man, standard scoring league sitting at 1-4.

Traded Asiata, Gordon, and John Brown for Colston and Mathews.

Before:

WRs Benjamin, Floyd, Randle, Torrey, John Brown, Gordon
RBs Lacy, Gore, Asiata, Vereen

After:

WRs Benjamin, Floyd, Randle, Torrey, Colston
RBs Lacy, Gore, Mathews, Vereen

Thinking about adding Andre Holmes as well.

Thoughts?

I'm not gonna lie, I hate that trade for you. I get that you're 1-4 and can't afford to wait for Gordon to get back, but man I feel like you could've gotten more for him. Asiata may score more than Mathews from here on out. Colston is horribly inconsistent.

And what the worst part is IMO, is that you traded for 2 guys that won't play this week. You'll be 1-5, and those 2 guys won't help you make a playoff push. You already accepted it, but if I were you, I would've called a ton of owners seeing what WR or RB they'd give up for Gordon.

Trade probably wont go in effect until next week. So he wont necessarily be 1-5

Even if he wins this week, he'd be a long shot to make the playoffs. My point was that he needs immediate help at 1-4 (immediate meaning getting help beginning this week or next week), and I don't believe this trade gave that to him.

I consider this unlikely, but we'll see. Even with Mathews out for another couple of weeks. I wasn't going to start Asiata this week and the following regardless. Not going against the DET rush D and then the Bills. 5th and 2nd best rush D respectively. Starting Lacy and Gore and flexing Torrey

I don't like it. I don't think it improves your team really at all. When are you ever going to feel comfortable playing Colston? And I think Asiata and Matthews is a push, but I may be wrong.

It's all based on my anticipation really. If you're someone who thinks Colston is gonna turn it on and Mathews will out score Asiata then it's a win, obviously I feel this way
