It seems after 4 or 5 drinks around the afternoon, I start getting sleepy. I used to get an adrenaline rush doing a shot of whiskey but now everything just makes me groggy. Is it my body reversing itself? Any good alternatives to alcohol?

You need to drink more. Get over that hump. Show some stick-to-itness.

Considering alcohol is a depressant, it should come as no surprise you get sleepy.

Yep, red and bull vodka is the correct answer. Multiple flavors of both. Addy helps too.

I don't drink for that reason. Some seem to have so much fun when they drink. I never understood why I couldnt. All I want to do is sleep if I drink and am just miserable if I have to stay awake.

Yes. That is why you must ingest alcohol through the anus.

Helps? that shite is the correct answer. Shots of straight vodka are cheaper anyhow and 2 A20s make a tailgate a drunken fun party for a 40 yr old, just don't tell cardiologist.

Yikes, one 20 would be more than enough for me. You must have the energy of a snail with diabetes
