If all the Native Americans had united, could they have stopped the White Man?

depends on which point in history

there is a reason we colonized the new world after plagues killed 90%+ of the native populations

Didn't Cortez take down the entire Inca empire with like 100 men?

Probably but it would've taken too long to mobilize the entire country.

No email back then.

Even united, the Indians wouldn't have outlasted the white eyes. Too damn many of us.

In north America they could have held off the Europeans for many 5-10 more years at the most. Technology and better weapons/supplies, etc were going to doom the natives either way.

history books have to go out of their way to find something impressive that native americans "taught" the settlers to make it seem even.

Burying a fish head with plant seeds to help spur growth is about what they came up with.

So no, I don't think the natives had much of a shot

A. It was the Aztec empire.

B. He had 500 to 600 Spanish troops, 15 horsemen and a few cannon.

C. The other subjugated tribes hated the Aztecs so much, many flocked to Cortez's banner while he marched on Tenochtitlan (Mexico City). He had thousands of indigenous troops under his command by the end of the conquest.

If the original indians that Columbus met in the West Indies had been hostile and slaughtered them all, it may have slowed down the white man, but it would still have been inevitable.

in the Columbus-era conquest, if the natives in what is now the US rallied, no way the Europeans conquer until disease ravaged the natives

hell, the euros couldn't establish home bases or supply lines to invade

That's a generous way of saying the Vikings stood no chance against them.

i won't say "never", but it probably would have been a generation or 2 later from where we did colonize the new world

plague is also inevitable in that scenario

They were pretty much all dead by the time "the white man" really starting taking their land.
