What's the boards view we tried it on a few last year and it worked great. Tried it on over half this year hope it doesn't bite us in the arse. Fwiw they seem to be coming up good.

I've used the throw and grow before for a last minute food plot and it has come up well. It was mostly rye grass but the deer still ate it. The hogs rooted the shite out of it (so I guess they liked it too).

Red rice is catching up to the current Clearfield herbicides when we're going the no-till route. 2 more years and a rumored new stuff is coming out

but other than that it's great

One of my plots i planted wheat, a bag of buck forage oats, and a bag of buck busters. The last I checked it looked terrible. I'll be up there tomorrow to see if it's still bad. If it looks bad I'll have to figure out something to plant for next weekend. I still have a bag of wheat and oats, but might just do rye grass to be safe. We didn't get rain for 2 weeks after we originally planted.

that's because the farmers were SUPPOSED to still watch for red rice and dig/burn any that still showed up.

We did burn. Our land has had pretty bad red rice forever. Too close to marsh

Also, if you get behind on your spraying you'll obviously not hit it all like you should. shite happens

I no-till planted rye grass in my pastures last Saturday. Went check it out yesterday evening and in the areas where there is no competing grass, the rye grass has germinated and broke the ground. I'm pleasantly surprised as last year it took a while for the grass to germinate.
