Andre Johnson for Josh Gordon

Got offered Johnson for Knowshon, but I told him no. He countered with Johnson for Gordon.
It would be for one of my FLEX receivers (1 and 2 are Julio and Demaryius), but I think Andre's best days are behind him and DeAndre is the emerging #1 WR in HOU.
Right now I have Andrew Hawkins, Brandin Cooks & Decker, so I'll probably be playing Decker/Cooks weekly after the bye week for Cooks.

Um...I'd do that in a heartbeat. Gordon will only play 5 games in most fantasy leagues. And your WRs suck right now.

If you're 4-1 or better you take this. If you're 3-2 and like your chances of making the playoffs you're likely taking this as well.

What league are you in that Julio Jones and Demaryius Thomas suck? They are my WR1 & WR2

I would keep Gordon. Cooks and Decker will outproduce Johnson until Gordon gets back.

Not in a PPR but A. Johnson has scored me no more than 5 ppg.

Yeah it's a PPR, so there's a little upside, but he hasn't seen the end zone yet, and I don't really think Fitzpatrick is getting any better. I'm 1-4, but I lost last week because my RB's all laid eggs (Morris, Bush & Asiata)

At 1-4 I would go find a top 3 team and see if they want Gordon + cooks for an elite RB or WR

At 1-4 I think it makes it that much easier cause you're a couple losses away from Gordon being irrelevant for you.

I think it'd be a toss up b/n AJ and Cooks every week depending on the matchup. Compared to Gordon who will miss another 6 games. How much can Gordon help him if he's 1-10? If his record was better then it'd be a tougher decision. Or like someone else said maybe offer up Cooks and Gordon for a top 10 guy.

You've got a point- I Started 1-3 and traded Shady for DT and Cooks, and scored the 3rd highest in my league last week- unfortunately I played the guy that scored 2nd highest last week and lost by 3.
I didn't take the deal- I'm pretty confident about my team moving forward.
