Prosecutors in Montgomery County, Texas, have filed paperwork to have Adrian Peterson's bail revoked and the running back re-arrested after the Minnesota Vikings running back told a court employee that he had recently smoked marijuana before taking a drug test Wednesday.

According to the filing, Peterson admitted to a court employee that he had "smoked a little weed" before the test.

Something something anything said can and will be used against you in a court of law.

AP just skipped the lawyer part and said it straight to a court official in court

This is hard to swallow as a Vikings fan. I still thought he would return next season. This will always seriously affect his conditioning and fitness.

Guess it is time to buy a Bridgewater Jersey.

Even before this I think he was done for the season. Now everyone can 100% let him go.

It's pretty sad how this all came down. I bet if the Ray Rice incident hadn't occurred, AP's punishment wouldn't NEARLY be as bad and this whole mess would have been avoided. What a horrible way to end a career.

Someone dropped Cam so I put in a claim for him. Been holding out hope, but I'm officially moving on. Good thing I went 3 straight RBs to start draft.

Seems like you would've been better off going WR first

I meant given the circumstances. I went AP, Foster then Jennings. I planned on flexing Jennings all year, but I've been starting those two and I was picking my flex out of Asiata, Crabtree and Fitz. Recently picked up Bell and Matthews so I'm hoping they can help eventually. My top 2 WRs are A. Brown and Sanders so I think I did ok all things considered. I'm in 2nd at 4-1 at the moment.

Is it safe to drop him?

99.9% yes, it's safe to drop him unless you're in a dynasty league (which still looks grim). He has to worry about the domestic abuse charge, drug charge, getting picked up if the Vikings drop him, etc.
