Tiger Rant, just an observation

I read multiple boards on here daily, if just a few of the people in this state worried about things that actually affected them, I.E. policy elections etc. as they did about micro analyzing sports, football etc. it would make a world of difference. It is what is is.

Is this political in some alternate universe?

I don't know if I would trust the average Rantard's vote.

You think this website is somehow representative of Louisiana?

The Political Board has its fair share of people bitching and complaining about frivolous things.

I notice the poliboard argues endlessly about national and international issues that affect them only indirectly, if at all, but state issues that actually have a direct impact quickly drop off the front page.

Prolly cause the poliboard has people from all over and some shitty school district or mall shite or annexation-whatever-the-frick Louisiana problems have been discussed here for the past 2 years will only garner so much interest.
Most everyone will have an opinion on national politics.

Discussion about local issues only work if there's enough people from the locality to sustain a discussion. See the BR vs. St. George threads for example.
This board's audience is composed of people from several different states in several different regions of the united states. It's no surprise national and international issues hold more water on this board.
