Preds game against the Blues

Should be a good game. Preds/Blues has developed into a nice little battle the last few years.

They just need to consistently enforce the whole kicking motion calls. Jackets had one taken back earlier this year because Boone got thrown to the ground, causing his legs to fall out under him, while knocking the puck in. It was an absolute joke it got removed.

When someone's stick is already past the net, and the guy clearly and purposely guides the puck in with his blade, it shouldn't be rewarded IMO.

But again, the Jackets can't put themselves in that situation. It's such a Jackets move.

Good offensive teams with shooters open up the ice for other players?

Nah it's not a dig at the Jackets, he's just having a solid season really stepping up. Good for Blake, seems like a great guy. Fit in very well very quick.

Is that supposed to make me mad?

It doesn't take a rocket science to figure out you will put up significantly better numbers when you are on a line with Malkin compared to Jared Boll.

Wait - with all of this passive aggressive animosity against the jackets....is Hog starting to think they are starting to turn into a legit threat in the east?

I'm interested to see what this Florida team has tonight. They've been playing well.

It's really too bad Seguin plays in Dallas. He's having the best year of his career, has become the best scorer in the league, and you barely hear a peep about him because of the team he plays for.

Boone Jenner is out 1-2 months with a stress fracture in his back. This will make CBJ man games missed at 209 tonight 32 games into the season. Why do the hockey gods hate us so much?

CBJ lost 292 man games all of last year.

Maybe that's why Spezza wanted to go there so bad? Fade into retirement

Maybe. Dallas seemed to be the place careers went to die for a little while there.

I'm sure the everyday NHL fan tuning into Stars game early last year had the first thought of, "Ray Whitney, Sergei Gonchar, and Erik Cole are all still playing? Is Dallas in some alternate dimension where it's still 2002?"

Another call up scores for the Pens, top prospect Derrick Pouliot this time.

1st game 1st shot 1st goal. Pretty awesome.

The Pens have every single one of their top 3 prospects all defensemen, starting tonight. Harrington, Dumoulin, Pouliot.

Ehrhoff, Maatta, Martin injured.

Panthers are a dirty arse team so many cheap shits my god, fight after fight in this one.
