Beatles - far more influential. The Beatles are the template for all rock bands that followed.

Having said that, every year goes by and I regard the Stones just a little bit better and it's not like they're really making good new music - that ended 30+ years ago.

But, they're better than a lot of Beatles snobs want to give them credit.

I'd pick a Rolling Stones concert over a Beatles concert any day at any point of their careers.

I like my favorite Stones songs more than my favorite Beatles songs, but I'm not too ignorant to admit that the Beatles are in a category by themselves
