I had a 1982 honda 250R when I has 11, it was the fast atv I have ever been on. My dad caught me racing my cousins truck in the bean field. Later that night after my beatings he ask how fast did i get up to. I told him less than 40mph so he wouldn't take it from me.

My mom sold mine when I was 12. Had it for about 3 months. Told grandpa to get me something smaller and with 4 wheels

They used to make a 90. That's what my kid started on. Still going strong after 6yrs or so. All we did to it was take the governor off and replace the battery.
And Fin, I'm betting you could ride it pretty well.

The 50 is really small and no reverse. Polaris mad a 90cc last year, you can probably still find one on the showroom floor. Cool looking little bike and room to grow a little... Also Can-am makes a 70 and a 90.

I got one for my 5yr as well, I wish we would have gotten the razor 4 wheeler instead. They will serve the purpose but my buddy got his son a little Kawasaki 50 and it is a much safer machine and dependable. email me @ gchance5@yahoo.com and Ill give you my cell if you want get some more details.

The Razors are cool if it's a first bike, Got my boy one at 3.5. He started riding a Pee Wee 50 at 2.5, so his riding skills are a little advanced. The razor was well worth the money and would buy again in a heartbeat. Plus tiller tires fit it...

They are a huge piece of shite. But they are cheap and will teach em to ride, and you can govern en down to a crawl. I got a year and a 1/2 or so out if mine before it got too much to fool with. Its now parked outside my shop and I've rounduped around it all summer. Feel free to come get it
